The Problem with a Monetized Blog

Once upon a time a not so writer writing this post enjoys reading blogs. Personal blogs that has real stories and real experiences. She loves blog hopping, truthfully commenting, knowing other bloggers life updates and adventures and learning from their experiences. But that was ONCE UPON A TIME.

As I am having difficulties managing my time being a first time mother and instant two children, my passion in reading other's blogs suddenly disappear. As I recognize upon reading their post becoming more and more of an advertisement. Of coarse I understand, I as well as I am also doing advertised post, but for some I read , no more life story related post. For the sense of earning, the essence of real blogging (I assumed knowing the authors) decreasing its quality. The feelings that used to be incorporated in every post becoming null. I felt sad for I have known some bloggers in the blogosphere whom used to blog to chronicle life experiences.  I am not enjoying reading some blogs anymore if in one glance I saw that it is a sponsored post. Also it so rare that you can see a real helpful link. Most of the links incorporated in a post were advertisement. I am not against advertising and earning thru blogs. Actually I am hoping and praying that my blogging life will be fruitful. The thing that I am concerned about is reading realistic articles. Wrap with emotions posts. I used to read numerous blogs that I've known for years a diary blogs but visiting their blog now is like visiting a newspaper on the net. So dull, emotion less, and more links and ads. I am happy for them , for that means lots of income, but I know I am not the only one who wants to read real stories from their blogs. Especially those blogs that were very helpful such as parenting blog, tips and how to's etc. I guess this is one big disadvantages of bloggers having a Facebook account. They do not write on their blogs to share anymore instead post it on their Facebook account.*sigh*

Event Corrdinator

This supposed to be a post on my business blog, but that is if I will be going to make it as a business. hehehe So for today that this is just an idea, I want this to be shared here in my diary blog. I have been organizing little events even before when I was a student. I am on a thrifty side but with touch of elegance type of event coordinator. I guess the word "Event Coordinator" is too professional and too big of a word, I am not yet in that stage. hehehe. I am a simple party planner who wants to make events more of a DIY and affordable resources. Who wouldn't want that eh? Anyway kudos to the internet especially my favorite website ehow.com. Because of lots of tutorials and resources and when, how and where ideas that feed my in mind. Due to the opportunities given to me planning some events, an idea come up from hubby said why shouldn't I try a new career. This is the event coordinating field. I am not that confident if I can do so but I am overwhelmed that the idea came from husband. Husband never lies and he is actually frank too. So if he say a compliment it is really a compliment. I once dream of planning an event abroad in a new york event locations for instance. I want to explore the event coordinating things and beyond. I want to experience how to coordinate an event in a place where I am not familiar much. Where I can test my resourcefulness, adaptation and thrifty attitude. A EstateWedding will be the best event example I can think of. Since this kind of event needing a glamorous and elegant outcome, which most of the time eats lots of budget and needing an amenable venue. The components of an event like this will be a great tests for a wanna be like me.

New Phone

I am currently using my mom's Corby 2 phone. I am okay with it, but still I want my own new phone. It's been so long since I liked a new unit. For the years that hubby is into buy and sell of cellular phones, my desire for cellphones vanished since I can explore almost all of the high-end cellphone models during that time.  Today husband is still into buy and sell but in a different item which is computer, computer parts and laptops. He changed his line of items two years ago, so for two years now I've been contented for a low end Nokia which is now begging for rest reason why mom lend me her phone. I am rooting for an HTC Windows 7 phone or an I phone. Or any android phone which is packed of  free android apps . There were lots of android apps to enjoy nowadays. But it is more enjoyable if it's free. Who wouldn't want free things hmm?.. I know this is just a desire and not needing an urgent attention. But just in case hubby or my brothers read this post, and make their mind giving me one, I will definitely love a surprise! :)

Last Summer Fun

Aside from the last summer escapade we had last Easter Sunday, we never had any other summer getaway. Due to the strict attention in need of our getting bigger business, we almost forgot that summer season is about to end. We don't even had a getaway with husband's family. Still mom is considering of having a getaway together with my in laws though the rainy season is approaching. (We are a small family so having one getaway is easy to plan with mom together with my in-laws). Probably a day full of  fun in an amusement parks or even a simple family dining in a five star like Buffalo hotels is a good option for  bonding.  Not because it's summer so literally the only way to enjoy it is by the beach or pools. Since still the weather is still unfavorably hot, going out into colder places is a good way of enjoying and bonding too.  Good thing that online deals gave me this idea, the other way of enjoying that need not time for planning too much. I'm pretty sure that kids will enjoy it running around the park, watching fishes and other aquatic creatures or if there some GogoBot as an additional attraction too. I just need to settle the deal and print the voucher for us to have our last summer fun before the busy school days starts.

Caught Between Practicality and Devotion

This blogspot blog has been published for five years. Literally I have been writing here for five years. Just recently some time in February I decided to bought a domain for this blog. I never imagined it could be that hard leaving the blogspot blog that I am used to for years. I thought it was just simple. The transferring process is really simple and all the technicalities . But the moment I thought that I already fixed all problems, just as the time I am realizing that problem from transferring to a custom domain is just arising. It's all about the monetizing factor. The current advertiser on this blogspot blog seems like do not want a change. All my reviews and advertisers sending me an email regarding on the changes that happened. I am now, just as this moment, deciding what to do with this problem. I don't want to loose the tim sykes and other advertisers that giving me moolah in this blogging thingy. I know what to do but I am confuse in between because I really want this blog to have it's own domain but I don't want t loose the opportunities of earning online. I am caught between practicality and devotion. Devotion to my blogging personal diary and practicality of additional earning I can ave if I choose wisely.

Revealed Plans

After 10 months of working on board, brother is coming home next month. As much as he wanted his arrival to be a surprise, unfortunately his plan of surprising us will not be a surprise anymore. His good friend spill and revealed his plans. She said that he along with other friend who just came home from abroad too and his new girl friend booking for a vacation in Bohol. My reliable source even told me that my brother was asking to look for a best deals of good accommodation and affordable place like a Buffalo Hotels that they can avail. He is planning this early for their getaway, so that is already a sure clue that he will be arriving by the date he told to the reliable source. I really wanted to offer him some help since I am almost 24/7 online. Also by blog walking I have lots of resources I read and found online. But knowing him, I know he will not asks for my help. Yet I know, he visited my blogs. Probably by chance that he may drop here in this blog, he will surely know what to do, and he always know where to find me and ask for my help like a Gogobot that can extend my service. He need not to worry, I am not going to ask him much in return. *winks*

Make Money Through Blogging

I started blogging as a sort of expressing myself. I am a type of person who prefers not to complain a lot verbally. (My mom taught me that! aw!) If I speak too much I know I will hurt a lot of people or even the people I love. That's why I created this blog and how it means to me... Not until my mentor finally approached me. She was the one who introduced me in monetizing my blog that supposed to be only an online diary. She gave me tips and legit websites where I can make money . Where I can enjoy writing while earning. Who wouldn't want that!. It is still M-O-N-E-Y! Aside from enjoying what you're doing the fact that it will give me some moolah is a plus. As she influences me to earn online, I finally did my part to excel more and look for more ways and websites where I can earn. In five years of expressing myself through my blogs I may not be like other bloggers who earns big-time, but I enjoy my little earning because I look at it as a bonus. As I said it is not the main focus why I blog but a blessing that I can do both at the same time. I listed some tips what I did three years ago as I started earning through my blog.

• I learn to be more specific and making sure that though I am writing my online diary I see to it that somehow others can relate or learn from my own experiences. In that way I may have visitors and my page will earn a rank in search engines.
• I join websites who accepts bloggers or publishers that gives article or survey review for paid.
• I became more friendly with other bloggers so as to share tips with them and also ask. It's a give and take thingy.
• I always do my projects on time and double checking it before I submit it. Looking forward for more projects.

Simple ways yet effective for me. That's how easy I earn money in the world wide web. Behind all these is the patience and never losing hope attitude . It's not always a "raining opportunity". So if there's one, I see to it that I will immediately grab it, be thankful and do my best.

Soon to be Unemployed

It was a sad news yesterday when huny shared it to me. That in two months time he will be unemployed as per the company announces for the administration staff but the agents will be unemployed at the end of the month. The company declared a bankruptcy. It was somehow as expected by hubby since he most of the time arranged the conference room recently from clients to their superiors and been hearing the secret rumors. It was not actually bankruptcy but a change in management but of coarse this will not be accepted by regular employees. As per hubby's observation the management only wanted to remove the people whom been working long but performance not so good, those that established clan in the company and those who have tons of dealfun.com complaints. So as there's no easy way to remove those kind of employees that the company decided to file a state of financial instability. Good thing hubby was prepared. Even before we got married last August, he already told me he will file his resignation letter. For he said and I know that company didn't deserve such good and loyal employees like him :D. They were not fairly benefited as per legalities stated. At first upon entering in the company as a probationary employee, he didn't felt the unfair benefits not until he got regularized. It took years before he decided to quit since he was fulfilled by his job. He love what he's doing and it his forte. Eventually as our needs increases now that were becoming three, he know he needs not only fulfillment but also benefits. So as he says that what currently happening in the company is just a blessing in disguise.

A Family Diary

I am planning to make a blog niche talks about our family. So obviously it is more of us. But wait that doesn't mean anybody who will visit never got anything from it. And this family I am pertaining to is not solely my little family instead my family from my parents. Our obstacles before how we became what we are now today. This thought came in my mind just last night. I want this to share to my children and grand children and to the future generation. Of coarse only I can share is from where I started, I cannot get back to the very beginning from the ancestral (lol). I realized that in the near future since new generation not fond of reading articles on hand but just a click away to know what they want. An online diary with a jquery content slider of pictures from the past will make them interested to read. What will it be to others? It may sound classic but I still believe it may help others who can relate to our stories, triumphs and achievements in our life. A Not so Happy Reunion

Good thing about our clan ( Dad's side) is that we everyone shows whenever tragic happens. Their siblings bond was inherited by us and even to younger generations. Dad has 9 siblings excluded him. So basically they were 10. My father was the first even prior to their mom, but followed our grand father to a never ending life. In case like these, all of his siblings and even their cousins show up and let us feel their love for my father. Tragic like this somehow became a happy reunion. For everyone shows up whenever part of the world they were. Indeed that bond is really like that. Impractical yes but they don't want to miss the last good bye of my father. So my father's wake during that time became more lively and not so sad event at all. Since they consider dad as the family's clown. This kind of a not so happy reunion will be repeated this Saturday. My cousin I posted last, who suffers leukemia already joined the Almighty's kingdom. In a span of a week knowing he had the illness. As I mentioned on my last post that the progress of his illnes was not traceable and the prognosis metastasize too fast.We are so sorry and sad for the lost of one of our family  if only we have known or even just to prevent this kind of a very surprising tragic even, we shouldv'e advised everyone to have a Medicare supplement. When Will I Take My Boracay Rhum

It's so obvious to everyone knew me that I love alcohol much. Almost gotten to a point that I got hospitalized because I reached the alcohol toxicity level to my blood. Don't get me wrong, I am not an alcoholic, I just love parties.Also mentioned here and to my other blogs that party for me will never be complete if there's no alcohol at the table. 

Here are some of my drinking session with different group of friends. 

I love to taste different brands of alcohol. Recently before I found out that I am pregnant, the newest in town that I have tasted was Boracay Rum! It was so awesome and really taste good. Little by little I try to control myself not to drink too much and began to be choosy to what alcohol  will I drink. Since that was the first time I tasted it, immediately I like like as well how I became addicted to Tanduay Ice. Unfortunately my craving for Boracay Rum immediately stops when I found out later on.

P.S I'm not able to have a pic with the last session I had with Boracay Rum, since it's the newest and it's just a sneak out on an hour break in the office.^^

Few months will be the next time. And if possible will it be okay to take it at the hospital room?hehehe.After delivery of coarse!And there are lots of occasions afterwards waiting for the presence of this rum!

Heroes To Salute For

Everybody's aware of these catastrophic radiation from Japan. Everybody's worried and afraid of it of coarse. I give vows to these guys that helps and trying their best to protect the mankind even if it means of suffering themselves. They were not saving only their country men but the whole world. I wonder how did these guys decides when they were ask for this kind of job. Is the invitation for this job is like an email campaigns spread to everyone offering a best livelihood offers. Still it's  a heroic dedication  not even thinking of the compensation but risking their own lives. Radiation has a lot of bad effect to human's body. Especially if it is a direct contact. Even if they wears a lot of protective personal equipments. We can never tell what will happen to them after grappling the  said radiation. 

These guys were real life heroes deserves a salute of mankind.

Eigth Weeks on The Way

I have been wanting this day to come that I can finally brag about these! I am worried for a dear friend, reason why I can't post anything and just making hints of everything's happening. Now that I had the time to chat with her and told my reason I can barely reveal everything and express my happiness!

I am on my eight weeks of pregnancy.  I found it out early this month after suffering from a very disturbing dry cough that seems to be endless. It just came out of my head to have an accessible pregnancy kit before I take medicine and voila it brought a good news. First reaction to everything of coarse shock.Me and huny experienced that first reaction. It's like where in a new apartments that we don't know what to do first. After few minutes in state of shock we were silently screaming. Silently because it's the middle of the dawn and everyone's sleeping still. We immediately had plans what to do in the morning. As the sun shows we hurriedly went to my OB. Excited?! Super excited! Actually it's half worried as well. Knowing myself in the past month I have been back to my vices and started to love drinking alcohol again. I am that enthusiastic to know when the ovulation starts and how was it inside. Glad to hear from my OB that it's fine and ovulation just started a week after I had my full blast drank momentum. I am then relief and started to take care of myself to the fullest. And guess what a lot of my vices mates taking care of me as well! What a good feeling!

Summer Plans

Last year together with my perks in review center had a blast almost last complete beach party. I mentioned that almost last complete because some of those belong to that getaway were now in other part of the world. We were drifted apart by our goals. hehehehe.. It's our wishes that there will be a professional photographer that will capture our almost last moments and experienced a very accommodating and relaxing getaway into a different place like what a  Monaco grand prix packages can give.   For sure there will be a next time but maybe that will be held in next five years or so.  Fortunately by that time all of us can spend much of a grand reunion since by then we were all stable financially. *fingers crossed!*

For this year a summer blast with the family is what I am looking for. Good thing I am not the only one planning for it. It is so rare that we had this out of town plan. Since mom is a business addict and brothers had different getaways to attend. This time its us as a family that prioritizing for a getaway.

Level Up for Huny

It's been days that me and Huny talked about him taking up short coarse related to his field. Its me who always pushes him to do this kind of thing. For me it's additional knowledge that he can use. To enhance his knowledge and abilities and  learn more. I am hunger for learning especially when it comes to information technology. This field is a fast approaching and always changing. I don't want to be the least to know about the upgrades on this field. It's like a gcse easter revision courses that only held once in a year.He is hesitant because of non related thing such as expenses( hello it's free!) time ( OMG it will be adjusted based on his offs) and us ( I am not gonna leave him!for sure). When I found out that the only reason he had in mind is to have a class with me. Which means us having the same schedule. Unfortunately that is impossible. His offs were weekdays while mine is weekend. He said he needs to train first the newest help desk member of their team prior he can avail for a weekend off. Hmmm sounds good! Sooner I will be on leave on blogging and learned more of designing. I am so excited that sooner day! Hurray!

Weekend Vacation

Back in college days it's hard for me to have a weekend vacation. We have a lot of activities that even weekends which supposed to be a rest day will be used for meetings and plans for the upcoming weeks activities. If I am lucky to have a spare one, it will be a bonding with friends wherever. Basically a weekend at home is always impossible. I did not experienced the comfort of our leather furniture sofa much.

After college as I entered the real and practical life stage, I have been inclined in a business wherein it follows the time frame of the other part of the world. Aside from making night here a day for business, we also seldom have weekend offs. Now that I have found what I consider the best company because it provided my asking compensation, requested rest day schedule and a very very easy task. I now can enjoy weekend vacation.

Stress Away

Working in a financial istitution it means its raining stress. Knowing myself I always find a way to release stress into different divertion types. This is not to be fed up and soak much that lead me to unwanted severe weigth loss or worst migraine. Good thing I have buddies which also think the same as mine.

Though we are not fond of playing into bingo sites, we are into bonding and drinking sessions. Either liqour or coffee. That's how we celebrated our stress releiving day. We are fond of this bonding session every time we can find time. For some days we really made our own time though it will affect work schedules. Maybe because we are nurses and we know stress is bad for one self that's why we find way to be free of it.
