The Additional to the Family

0

When we decided to buy a property, we are so happy that we are going to have our first ever investment. It may not be that big but still it's an investment and a fulfillment for me. Last year, I received this best offer, buying a house and lot directly from the owner to pay only for 3 years. What a good deal right? For some instance after paying for almost a year the seller need an immediate money for healthcare expenses. The owners are elderly and no other source of income except from their child. They received a best-est offer to cash in the property they were selling. Though it is a bridge of contract but since I understand their situation hubby and I give in since they were returning all the money that we paid.
It's frustrating yet I saw a rainbow while holding that sum of money we received back. I suggested , since we also needed, to purchase a car. It may not be an investment but this will make the kids happier and comfortable for our growing family. It may be an expenses in exchange of our supposedly investment but we've got no regrets having Wyx as an additional family member.

Level up Plans

0

As I get matured and looking at the bigger picture of my little family, I am aiming more and more for my kids. How I can make their life comfortable and the way of their living without neglecting the  things that they should learn in life as they grows. Plan of their studies and more spacious home. My dream of owning our own home seemingly vanish as I have to be more practical and think of other things which is more important. Mom and my eldest brother offer's our ancestral's house. At the same time mom needs someone to accompany her and we can't also afford to be away from mom. Recently mom's another level up proposal is to renovate for the second time of our home. A proposal of new main doorway  and also offers a new side for windows as it is more conducive and more ventilated side of the house. She also advises to look for ideas of window  tinting for homes online or in the nearby home depot. I am enthusiastic for mom's ideas and offers at the same time I feel like kids need a more spacious rooms to play and study. The property is available all we have to do is to maximize the availability of it and plan carefully.  It was mom's suggestion not to get a ling term house loan. Considering that it will be our achievement as a couple yet that would be a long term sweet burden though. And 30 years is not a short period. That will be half of our lives. I was enticed how developers nearby beautify houses around with an ample square foot property. The place that I have right now is more promising than subdivisions houses. Our place is not a depressed area but a residential area. Making the best out of it, designing at my finest touch to satisfy my craving with developers taste of construction and reading some professional tips online. While planning of how to start the renovation, as early as now we are checking for alternative and best ideas for a good design that we will include in our bucket list for renovation .In time all of the plans that's piling up will be coming into reality the sooner.

Jesus Loves Me

0

Photo grabbed from Courageous Catie Facebook account

My title was not actually from me. This was from the bravest little girl whom I never met yet impacted my life a huge. I may not seem to be religious nor may obviously reflect God on my doings but I believe to myself that I have a strong faith. I know it wasn't enough just to say that "I have faith". But, incorporating it to my life, daily habits and practice is necessary to show how strong it is.

This blog has been my diary since a decade. I share my thoughts, frustrations , achievements and sadness. This has been left abandoned quite a while when I felt that I cannot make any better to share good thoughts but purely frustrations , anger and negativity. And for all those time I felt shame to myself then I got to know about #courageouscatie . Like as well as to others, she seemed to be an angel to me in a timely manner that makes me realize how lucky I am and I should be grateful as always.

My brother who died of a motorcycle accident

Since 2014 I always told to myself that I was never been okay. Since my brother died, then my mom got sickly, my son had a Hirchsprungs then my eldest daughter got sick followed by my husband as well. And the situation go round and round repeatedly until today. Some has a period, such as the death in the family. But the unstable health condition still continues specially to mom and my kids. I Am financially challenge, physically exhausted and emotionally battered . In time that I get used to heard about this little girl.

My daughter and my mom

Sometime in March this year, mom got hospitalized with enlargement of the heart to consider pleural effusion, got no one to look after the kids, husband and I have to go to work to financially sustain the family. The business just had bankruptcy. When my boss posted a tribute to her posting a yakult bottle. Then I started to stalked jayjay's Instagram and the Facebook page. Each day that I checked whenever I have time , I always cried. From day 1 of being hospitalized until it gets severed then to finally have a diagnosis and up until today. I wasn't with her during her battle but I can feel the pain and how courageous she was.  And I admire her for that courage and wearing a brave clean heart. I admire her parents for raising her that way. And I admire Jesus the most for having created Catie and let the world knew about her in his ways.
I may not be able to write Feliz and Jayjay or show up in Catie's wedding day but in my heart I am so much thankful to the Lucas family for being an inspiration, giving me an ounce of courage and dozen reasons letting me aware how Jesus prepared me to this earthy life and given me a wonderful people in my life. Now, part of our bed time stories and Facebook browsing is the story of Catie that I am sharing to my kids.

If Asking Me Why?

0

I know I am still upset trying to cover it with my so called busy life. Yet I can feel it. Especially when I am blogging.

  • Why I am not always at your tomb or visiting you Kuya?
        - Because I can't. I may be the last one , it may have been a year, but still I am in denial.
  • Why I can't go into a drinking session?
        - Because I still remember you and the good times drinking with you and I can't hold unto my tears if that happens and I know it sucks.
  •   Why I can't cry , mourn for you?
      - Cause my head says everything is just a bad dream. My mind says I can't be soft I was the only left to bear the pain. I cannot mourn if my head is not yet accepting the fact that you're not here anymore.
  •   Why I am not listening to the music genre we used to listen to?
      - It makes me cry a river. Just by hearing those , memories keep on flashing back instantly.

I've already posted it that there were a lot of reason to be happy . I am setting my mind that way. I am surrendering all to Him. Yet I can feel emptiness. I rarely feel it because I want my mind to be always occupied and make my body dead tired yet when I am alone I am feeling something is missing. I even say to myself I am just a sister so what would it be for his wife and  our mother.  Mom always telling me I already forgotten about you. She said seems like what had happened is just that simple and it's nothing to me. She just don't know how much I am suffering for your lost yet I needed to be tough. Because I can't show to everyone that I wanted to breakdown. One of the reason why stopped blogging. I started this blog as a diary. I vent out and express through posting. Now I am doing it again. Maybe it could help me. Maybe not but I know someday I will be healed but doesn't mean I will forget you.

Going On.. Moving Forward.. What a BIG word..

0

This year is a very tough  for the family. This isn't a year end post but I am trying hard to be optimistic everyday. That for all that we've gone through as a family our sun is about to smile on us. Just recently when my brother died I have realized the word moving on is really a BIG word. When I was young I look at it as a petty issues on lovers  but still the same perception but have  my own reason why it became a big word.
Because of Him. Kuya.
I always say to myself I am accepting everything but I know deep inside of me still holding into a thought that this is just a bad dream. * How I miss writing, I can express what I want and don't  care if everything were grammatically error. It's just my fingers love to type in the words that I wanted to express. * I always pray and said I surrender to YOU it all but I know there's a piece of me that's not at peace. I mentioned to my husband that I've never been happy enough after the accident. I am guilty cause I know there were a lot of things to thank and be happy for. But I don't know why I can't .
I smile, I laugh , I can be with others, I am loud yet I am really lonely. Heal me Dear God. I know this isn't the right thing to do and to feel and I have to accept everything . Heal my heart, my soul and clear my hatreds. As what always Ate said no one can bring you back to be here with us. Nothing's going to change even though he will be penalized. Just to get even yes but still not change the fact that you were gone. Though we fill our hearts with hatred to that person lead your death nothing will change. I admire your wife.. She's the toughest. I hope and pray the soonest I will be healed.

Totally Wounded

0

I still can't believe that you're gone. Wala na yung mgtatanggol at mgsasaway everytime kuya Mike and I had petty arguments. I once told Jess that I am not even reaching the DABDA stages. Feels like I am in illusion that everything had happened was just a bad dream and now it's over and you back on working night shift and or day shift. That I am just unable to check you in your house. That you were just too busy playing clash of clans and can't even get out of your home. Seems everything is not sinking in. Not on the moment that I am about to seek justice for you. I feel like I am full of anger and hatred . Not to anyone else but to those who have let you suffered too much. I am trying to console myself that it was really meant to happen as it is because His(God) will. The lousy accident, the unquestionable bruises inside your body stating that need not to questioned what had happened. The thing that made me furious and full of anger were the people behind. I am just human, I accept the fact that it is God's will but  I am not able to forgive those people. Who am I going to forgive wherein no one is taking responsible of the accident. I don't know how long will I feel empty and unhappy. I really feel that something's missing. Though were not constantly seeing but the time you and Ate moved in here made me feel excited where I dreamed and we planned of us having good times more than the usual .How can it be if you're not here anymore? How can we have inuman sessions wherein our eldest cannot go in our flow. How can we both laugh unto somebody else and somebody else fault/ life drama. How can we laugh and be mean to our neighbor while you as the good guy and me the villain. I can do such stuff with anyone but it's different doing it with you. I really misses you Kuya. You were more than a tropa than a brother. I rarely received sermon from you. I remember the first and last time you slapped me when I was denying that I am not drunk and I puke in front of you come next morning you apologized and told me not to hide from you for you to know on how to cover me up. These were just memories. Till next time Kuya Chris.

I really wanted  to go to Puerto Princesa. It's one of my dream destination before I started dreaming of going globally.

Cebu
The year husband and I got married, we have a supposedly honeymoon at Cebu and Bohol. The ticket  and our accommodation has been booked which is a gift from our Godparent residing in Cebu who's actually waiting for us then. For some reason, (because I m pregnant ) My OB did not allow me to travel because I am suffering from a severe edema. Our vacation and itenerary got wasted and our money too. But no regrets, It's for my safety but still I wanted to go to Cebu to visit our Godfather who never fails to bless us and include us, our family in his prayers. Oh by the way, Our Godfather is a dear priest friend of husband whom he acknowledge as his second dad.

Boracay,
Believe it or not , my foot were not landing on Boracay yet!. I should've lots of opportunities when I was single, but visiting that place is not one of my dream during that time. Dreaming of seeing the highest peak mountain in Southeast Asia. As a former mountaineer way back in college, it's one of my dream climbing this Mt. Kinabalu at Malaysia. Although I know it is't easy as it says but ven only seeing the mountain personally seems like a dream come true already. I know today, that I have kids , it's impossible to go back in mountain climbing, probably whren my kids get older, wherein if they will love adventures as I do, I can tag them along to climb again.

My niece Yeong euni.

Incheon, South Korea
I am not a K Pop lover but that doesn't mean I am not loving to visit Incheon. I have good friends and a relative residing in Incheon and  would love to pay them a visit if I maybe given a chance to do so.

I am so excited as traveling made easier and convenient with this two budget friendly airlines now partnered and can give every Filipino an exciting travelventure! :D

Hope This Will Last the Soonest

0

As part of the process of pregnancy regarding hormone level changes, I am suffering a something unusual (for me) symptoms. I am well informed and understood about this but still can't help but complain especially I am seeing my skin being tortured as wounds making my skin ugly. Besides this is my second pregnancy that I didn't suffer on my first. That's why I have lots of questions in my mind on where did I am lack of. Ironically though I know such facts still I questioned. Funny how I master my subject in college in particular with maternal and child and now that I am in the that stage I am having a hard time believing theories. Maybe I am just in denial and thinking that I might be exempted. heehee. But I am hoping this little rashes turned to wounds will heal the soonest. I am doing everything natural I can to treat it and reduced the damage into my skin. Also the fact that I am already an adult, wound scar will not vanish by itself at all and I need to exert a lot of effort to bring back the clean skin I used to have. As I kid into others, I don't have that super pretty face nor charm and even  a fair glowing skin that everyone can appreciate once I am seen but the only external features to be noticed is my clean brown skin. Now that it wasn't that clean, I felt like all my confidence turned to its lowest level and I am having a hard time working with the confidence itself if I am seeing such glitch around my legs. Everybody around cheering me up for it will vanish once I gave birth. I understand indeed it will but the marks won't. (sigh). Anyway I still can managed just as long as I am thinking that this ugliness is in exchange of a healthy gorgeous and lovable baby coming out by September.

The Subic Experience

0

I cannot consider myself a traveler at all though I only visited few places yet. But once I am with one good place I never forgot to write my personal inputs about it.

Last February we've got the chance to went to Olongapo, Subic for Aneisha's first birthday, It's our niece. It's a long travel here from Cavite  considering that we have a  baby to thug along with us. But that ain't give us a hard time to decide going  since Lyxn is a very easy baby to go along. She loves traveling that's why she behaves like a little angel whenever in a puv.

At the Party

The gift giving to the celebrator

About Subic, since it was my first time, I was really amazed how clean the place was. No wonder why animals such as monkeys, bats and different bird species can be seen on the roadside  as if not afraid of the commuters. They were friendly and even enjoy posing at the camera. The malls in Clark offers different kinds of entertainment. Like any other malls in Manila they have almost the same that everyone will be fond of. The airport is well organized, clean and if talks about parking problems and traffic jam there were none.  I think most of the people is disciplined. Even bikers and tricycle drivers follow rules properly and maybe by heart. That's why the place is so organized.

There were lots of places to enjoy at Subic. Aside from a clean airport, the Ocean Adventure Park can also be found here and the Zoobic Safari. Other than that there were free parks like the birds and bats sanctuary, the human untouched forests and others. Most of the free parks were not too much touched by humans. I mean they were preserved as it is to appreciate it's real beauty. Some of the thing that I noticed man provided is benches and most of them seems to be  natural too.
Us with the dolphins, i't hubby who took the picture, Lyxn obviously afraid to the dolphins.
Due to limited time and also we're there to attend the party, we've only got the chance to visit few places and Ocean Adventure is one of it. It's quite pricey for 550 php for a per head entrance fee but getting inside and experiencing it can say it's worth the amount we paid. The animal show is a superb experience. We also got the chance to have a picture with the Dolphins. That costs differently pricey too. Good thing brother in law's sister has a connection to help us to be discounted. We never tried going into Zoobic Safari because it would ate a lot of our budget if we did, but the next time we pay a visit to brother in law's place that is the next in our list not to miss.

Different Side of Success

0

Everyone has its different side of success. This is what I realized as I was sour gaping the last time ( though I can't remember when was the last time) More and more looking and appreciating what I have makes me realize a lot of things these days. And just as I mentioned the realization of different side of success was the recent that I found out. Checking on friends online accounts, success, failure statuses blah blah made me feel to be thankful. First, though still I haven't fulfill my family's will being a licensed nurse, I am not a pain in the ass at home. I paid they hardships as I work for the family too and offer what I can. I earn for a living and I was blessed with lots of different talent and resources to made some moolah. Though I still felt like they were rooting for that licensed as fulfillment to the field where I graduated to. I still have plans still but it need to wait as I need to prioritize what's important for the meantime. Next, having my own family and being married to the guy I love most. It isn't easy to find true love and that's a fact!. I've known a lot who were very successful in terms of career but happiness ain't it all talk about . No one can live alone although others said they can it can't be true! Swear!Who would you share your success, who will be with you if you were down, who will you laugh with. Third, the business, I may not have the best career or my dream one yet the business we had provides for what we need and sometimes on what we desires too. We ain't had the promising luxury of the earth but we have the most life has to offer. We can make our own luxury in our own ways :D

Preserving Mankind with Kojie.san Men

1

As the generations vary from different perspectives, a lot of terms exists from different descriptions of mankind nowadays. Specifically to manliness. As I personally see what manliness, though I grew in this generation I am still concrete and clear to my mind what manliness means for me. In one word, it still being respectful. I may overlooked  some physical psyche of a man most of the time but I see to it that there's this being respectful enough  stands in a man's persona. But wouldn't it be near to perfect that a man have both?. An attitude that can be called him a man and an appearance that makes him more stand out.
I am a super proud wifey talking here. Hihihi. I am so much blessed having the perfect as I describe husband. He is the most vain man I've ever met. In six years being with him no doubt he is a certified straight guy. He being vain is such his normal way. Looking good and wearing positive attitude towards everyone was the tactics he used to made me say "I do" to him. Also didn't surprise me to see that he can full our vanity closet with much of his stuff than mine. And for me to be able to answer “How can one preserve the concept of manliness in this modern age of liberal views and cultural influences?” I ask husband to answer since he as my favorite topic and was in hot seat as I threw the question to him.

- Being aware of how you look is realy important for me. I admit I am vain, I was once asked by a good friend  if I maybe a metrosexual . That actually didn't offended me at all. I am so thankful that in that question I have the opportunity to explain my side of being a vain man who were that conscious of my appearance. For me looking good isn't the basic component of being a man but a bonus. The ability to accept shortcomings, courage, physical strength and respect for other is what a man composed for me. No matter how many generations come and passed by , nor cultures trying to influenced us, being firm and educated with this traits is a motto that will always be in my mind and will teach to my future children. Looking good is important as well as how you can present yourself to others. Acting and presenting with conviction. The ability to carry yourself with all confidence with putting reality in mind that I maybe that superman still I am not perfect. The best I can do is make myself, appearance pleasing to everyone. That I can stand with my principles and beliefs.

I am very much  satisfied with his answer so I am rooting from more vain guys he can go along with at Kojie.San Men's Club . Were being vain isn't automatically mean something green at all. :) I guess hubby will surely enjoy being part of this club.

Check out Facebook fan page of Kojie.san Men’s Club http://www.facebook.com/KojiesanMensClub to find our how to preserve mankind.

Coming Home to Mandaue Foam

0

"Your home, your imagination."

A place where we were most comfortable is our home.We see to it that we have all the pleasure based on our preferences inside it that we cannot find to any other place. It is our own piece of heaven and relaxation for the busy buzz of our life. Choosing the best furniture is a must for us to have that superior comfort feeling in our abode. Being picky about it is our pleasure since we were the ones dealing, enjoying of those for the rest of our lives. These furniture will be our companion and witnesses to our roller coaster emotions, career and successes . Furniture isn't just a piece of a thing inside home for me. It is the components that makes a home to be our own meaning of palace.
As we were contemplating and in the process of making our own palace, we have already the list of what to include inside it. I have a lot in list but among all those I have this special preferences exactly the same furniture I wanted. No alternatives , no other brands. A caprice bed that has paces in the headboard.

Hubby and I loves to read before we sleep or check our emails whether on the phone or laptop. A spacious headboard is a must for us, since it will not consume another space and we need not to have a side table at all.
This Bernard L-shape Sofa looks classic and elegant. For a not so spacious house, furniture that can maximize the few spaces is a big help. It will also looks the living area neat and can accommodate more visitors.

A comfortable mesh high back office chair with headrest is also a must in our lists. Hubby and I both stays in long hours in front of a computer. A comfortable office chair will help us not to experience neck and back pain.

All of my picks were designed for a not so spacious house. And because of that fact we see to it though a little bit uncomfy talking about spaces, having the best furniture is the best we can do to make it a relaxing palace. :)

This collection I found from Mandaue Foam.  Hubby and I's inspiration of choosing furniture from them is the enticing commercial we've seen.

Immediately the time we saw it , we head on to one of their branch and check if it worth to be on top of our lists. Gladly it is, materials were superb and designs were uniquely amazing.

Business As Usual

17

Warning: This post is all about my opinion. This is MY blog and if you don't want what you read then leave this page.

Almost half of the world felt dismay regarding on Pacquiao Bradley fight last Sunday .  It's obvious who actually won. I am not saying this because I am a Filipino and into Manny Pacquiao's side. No I am not. I am actually not a boxing fan. I am just a critic and an observant. Because of this controversial fight, I first assumed that maybe, my neighbors, sports critics or the media men in the country was just over reacting and cannot get over the fact that this time Manny lost the fight. I didn't watch it that same day because I am busy and actually not interested. Since, practicality reason whether Manny win or loose I am not going to be benefited (lol). So instead of sitting in front of the T.V wait for his punch at et al, I choose to look for prospect business or jobs online while taking care of the baby and our little business.
Going back since this fuzz around the social networking sites and all over our place , I asked hubby to download the fight and we're going to watch it together. Watching it closely and uninterrupted makes me say " everybody's fuzz about the fight make sense at all". It's an obvious business as usual matter. Making controversy, popularity and doing it over again (rematch) in exchange of big earnings. After that fight now I know why Floyd Mayweather was that boastful and had he's ego higher than himself that he believes he can defeat Manny Pacquiao despite of, in spite of. Though obviously with his situation  he cannot. Because he, Mayweather believes in business not in strength nor Pacquiao's capability y of defeating him! Business that will make everything possible and another thing he is an American. I am no against American, I am just aware of the politics that no matter what American will never ever be a Filipino's underdog. Whether it's in a competition, sports , politics etc. Even in little details they don't let it happen that they will be dominated by Filipinos. Like what happened at American Idol. With Jessica Sanchez. She will never be a grand winner because she is half breed Filipino even if she fought the least American contender. There were news that Bob Arum was asking for investigation regarding the decision and the fight but for me, that was just a show.

Now I just realize that talking with my eldest brother makes sense. I learned a lot from him and got  new information how was the world outside our country. I'm so tats he's my bro :) .Since he was the one who always educate me about this stuff in Politics, History and even Greek Mythology.

Last Summer Fun

0

Aside from the last summer escapade we had last Easter Sunday, we never had any other summer getaway. Due to the strict attention in need of our getting bigger business, we almost forgot that summer season is about to end. We don't even had a getaway with husband's family. Still mom is considering of having a getaway together with my in laws though the rainy season is approaching. (We are a small family so having one getaway is easy to plan with mom together with my in-laws). Probably a day full of  fun in an amusement parks or even a simple family dining in a five star like Buffalo hotels is a good option for  bonding.  Not because it's summer so literally the only way to enjoy it is by the beach or pools. Since still the weather is still unfavorably hot, going out into colder places is a good way of enjoying and bonding too.  Good thing that online deals gave me this idea, the other way of enjoying that need not time for planning too much. Also the affordable yet exclusive deals. I'm pretty sure that kids will enjoy it running around the park, watching fishes and other aquatic creatures or if there some GogoBot as an additional attraction too. I just need to settle the deal and print the voucher for us to have our last summer fun before the busy school days starts.

Revealed Plans

0

After 10 months of working on board, brother is coming home next month. As much as he wanted his arrival to be a surprise, unfortunately his plan of surprising us will not be a surprise anymore. His good friend spill and revealed his plans. She said that he along with other friend who just came home from abroad too and his new girl friend booking for a vacation in Bohol. My reliable source even told me that my brother was asking to look for a best deals of good accommodation and affordable place like a Buffalo Hotels that they can avail. He is planning this early for their getaway, so that is already a sure clue that he will be arriving by the date he told to the reliable source. I really wanted to offer him some help since I am almost 24/7 online. Also by blog walking I have lots of resources I read and found online. But knowing him, I know he will not asks for my help. Yet I know, he visited my blogs. Probably by chance that he may drop here in this blog, he will surely know what to do, and he always know where to find me and ask for my help like a Gogobot that can extend my service. He need not to worry, I am not going to ask him much in return. *winks*

A Mother's Take on Prescription Savings Club of Walgreens

0

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Currently my precious is on medication due to unpredictable weather. Her pediatrician said that it is more of an allergy  to the weather. Aside from other expenses for babies needs, it is a burden for us financially most especially emotionally about the thought of buying her meds. Like other parents as much as we want we only visit pharmacy or drugstores just for vitamins and supplements and the  like. It is a double burden that it  ates some of our budget that supposed to be for other expenditures we can provide for her. Furthermore instead of complaining about medications of coarse I will do, buy anything no matter how expensive and how it will ruin my budget just to make sure that my princess will be okay. It is the most priority to make the precious one feel better. Good thing there is Walgreens is offering a special discount on annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club. For $10 a year, a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets. Individuals may join for $5. Join and receive discount prices on your prescriptions.

Furthermore, other benefits includes:
-Savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications

The Princess

2

I know, I know this is already a month late update. I am not allowed to watch television, sit in front of the computer, text, wash hands with tap water, took a bath for week, stay late and a lot more. All I am allowed is to take care of my little princess, breastfed and rest. It's a nice feeling to be pampered where I am not entitled to do household chores but only have bonding time with our new bundle of joy. So this late post is better than never right?..hihihi

I gave birth via normal spontaneous delivery last October 28, 2011 at 4:50 in the afternoon. I was brought at the hospital and my cervix already dilated by 8 centimeters. Fortunately I wasn't told by the physicians on duty to walk around. Instead they hurriedly contacted my OB which is currently in the near hospital. I reached the fully dilated cervix yet my bag of water was not yet ruptured. Doctor needs to manually rupture the BOW. Obviously I have a princess, it's a girl at 38 weeks and 2 days finally arrived weighing 3.25 kg and 51 cm long. Doctor said that my baby is too big and long for a five footer me. Luckily (thank God) I with the help of the healthcare team gone through delivering the baby normally. At first the resident on duty is quite hesitant of letting me deliver the baby normally, she actually in a state of suggesting an emergency cesarean section delivery. My placenta is on grade 2 which means I am risk for placenta previa and my baby had her cord coiled into her neck. But kudos to my doctor (most especially to Him) who believes (and guide us) in my baby and me that we both can surpass the stage. The ouchy part I have 11 stitches down under. All through the process I am widely awaken until I was transferred to my room. I haven't seen yet my baby that same day but the morning after she was brought for rooming in and breastfed session.

That's the beautiful story behind why my blogs almost have spider webs :).

Great Holiday Gift Ideas That Are Cheaper Than You Think

0

Ever since the economy took a turn for worse over three years ago, every holiday season since has been a struggle to make as many people happy on the smallest budget as possible. This year, with unemployment staying stagnant, benefits extinguished, and optimism for near-term recovery diminished to near-zero, many families will unfortunately be facing the most minimalist of holiday gift-giving they've experienced yet. But with that said, great gift ideas can still come to fruition on a shoestring budget. You just have to know how to go about doing it (especially when it comes to pleasing the little ones).
NEW PHONES FOR THE KIDS
Depending on the age of your kids, cell phones may or may not be suitable. But regardless, they may not be economically viable for you. However, prepaid cell phones provide a great option for parents who are both skeptical about allowing their kids to have mobile devices and unwilling to pay for unlimited data. Kids won't know the difference between a smartphone that comes with a contract and one bought at Target. But at the end of every month, you'll definitely notice the difference in the bill.
GIFT CARDS FOR THE GRANDPARENTS
Gift cards sound like an economically smart solution. But $25 here and $50 there quickly adds up. To cut the costs of gift cards for your parents and for anyone else, take part in paid online surveys which reward you with gift cards to sites such as iTunes and Amazon. What's the difference between working directly for the gift cards you hope to give and paying for them with cash?
MUSIC
CD albums, iTunes, and the devices that play music are all pretty pricy. So have you heard about Pandora? Pandora is a free-to-use program subscribers can access through any computer, that plays music radio-style in accordance to pre-selected artists. Thumbs up the songs you like and thumbs down the songs you hate to fine-tune the selections to better reflect your tastes. This free app can come across as an awesome “gift” to youngsters not yet aware of the web's array of free services.
SOCIAL MEDIA
If you've been holding off on letting your kids get Facebook profiles, a great Christmas gift idea for cheap could be to grant them permission to create profiles. Most social media sites have a fair amount of latitude as far as parental controls go on profiles, which can help ease apprehensions as well as allow you to monitor the social media activity of your children. You won't find a cheaper gift idea than this one.
This holiday season is going to be a tough one for countless families. But a little ingenuity and extra work can make even the most modest of gift budgets out-perform your expectations. You may very well be setting a precedent that will make future holidays not only enjoyable, but also affordable.
