Frustration Diverts to Shopping

This topic I am posting maybe not so new to those who frequently visited my blog. I am a hopper. Yes a call center hopper. I am not proud of it cause I know the implication of it was that I have an attitude problem. I admit I had. Accepting the fact helps me realize things and worked on to change it. As a new born mother everything was changed. Feels like I am an android cellular phone that experience a total reboot. From perceptions to goals. Everything changes. Only one thing that remains the same to me, I assumed, it's about me being optimistic. Today it is more strengthens. I believe that everything happens for great reasons and I will not be part of something if I am not going to learn anything about it. Of course I am a human that also feels frustrated at times and if this feeling comes along the way only one thing that makes me composed and positive again. Browsing at Zalora. Since 2009 that I started this guilty pleasure of online shopping. I am not that addictive perhaps 30 % of my online income went to online purchases. After making an assessment of myself, I got to learned that managing it as well will making me to be a better person. No denials, no defense mechanism. Accepting and working on how to turn things positively.

Event Corrdinator

This supposed to be a post on my business blog, but that is if I will be going to make it as a business. hehehe So for today that this is just an idea, I want this to be shared here in my diary blog. I have been organizing little events even before when I was a student. I am on a thrifty side but with touch of elegance type of event coordinator. I guess the word "Event Coordinator" is too professional and too big of a word, I am not yet in that stage. hehehe. I am a simple party planner who wants to make events more of a DIY and affordable resources. Who wouldn't want that eh? Anyway kudos to the internet especially my favorite website ehow.com. Because of lots of tutorials and resources and when, how and where ideas that feed my in mind. Due to the opportunities given to me planning some events, an idea come up from hubby said why shouldn't I try a new career. This is the event coordinating field. I am not that confident if I can do so but I am overwhelmed that the idea came from husband. Husband never lies and he is actually frank too. So if he say a compliment it is really a compliment. I once dream of planning an event abroad in a new york event locations for instance. I want to explore the event coordinating things and beyond. I want to experience how to coordinate an event in a place where I am not familiar much. Where I can test my resourcefulness, adaptation and thrifty attitude. A EstateWedding will be the best event example I can think of. Since this kind of event needing a glamorous and elegant outcome, which most of the time eats lots of budget and needing an amenable venue. The components of an event like this will be a great tests for a wanna be like me.

Business As Usual

Almost half of the world felt dismay regarding on Pacquiao Bradley fight last Sunday .  It's obvious who actually won. I am not saying this because I am a Filipino and into Manny Pacquiao's side. No I am not. I am actually not a boxing fan. I am just a critic and an observant. Because of this controversial fight, I first assumed that maybe, my neighbors, sports critics or the media men in the country was just over reacting and cannot get over the fact that this time Manny lost the fight. I didn't watch it that same day because I am busy and actually not interested. Since, practicality reason whether Manny win or loose I am not going to be benefited (lol). So instead of sitting in front of the T.V wait for his punch at et al, I choose to look for prospect business or jobs online while taking care of the baby and our little business.
Going back since this fuzz around the social networking sites and all over our place , I asked hubby to download the fight and we're going to watch it together. Watching it closely and uninterrupted makes me say " everybody's fuzz about the fight make sense at all". It's an obvious business as usual matter. Making controversy, popularity and doing it over again (rematch) in exchange of big earnings. After that fight now I know why Floyd Mayweather was that boastful and had he's ego higher than himself that he believes he can defeat Manny Pacquiao despite of, in spite of. Though obviously with his situation  he cannot. Because he, Mayweather believes in business not in strength nor Pacquiao's capability y of defeating him! Business that will make everything possible and another thing he is an American. I am no against American, I am just aware of the politics that no matter what American will never ever be a Filipino's underdog. Whether it's in a competition, sports , politics etc. Even in little details they don't let it happen that they will be dominated by Filipinos. Like what happened at American Idol. With Jessica Sanchez. She will never be a grand winner because she is half breed Filipino even if she fought the least American contender. There were news that Bob Arum was asking for investigation regarding the decision and the fight but for me, that was just a show.

Now I just realize that talking with my eldest brother makes sense. I learned a lot from him and got  new information how was the world outside our country. I'm so tats he's my bro :) .Since he was the one who always educate me about this stuff in Politics, History and even Greek Mythology.

Caught Between Practicality and Devotion

This blogspot blog has been published for five years. Literally I have been writing here for five years. Just recently some time in February I decided to bought a domain for this blog. I never imagined it could be that hard leaving the blogspot blog that I am used to for years. I thought it was just simple. The transferring process is really simple and all the technicalities . But the moment I thought that I already fixed all problems, just as the time I am realizing that problem from transferring to a custom domain is just arising. It's all about the monetizing factor. The current advertiser on this blogspot blog seems like do not want a change. All my reviews and advertisers sending me an email regarding on the changes that happened. I am now, just as this moment, deciding what to do with this problem. I don't want to loose the tim sykes and other advertisers that giving me moolah in this blogging thingy. I know what to do but I am confuse in between because I really want this blog to have it's own domain but I don't want t loose the opportunities of earning online. I am caught between practicality and devotion. Devotion to my blogging personal diary and practicality of additional earning I can ave if I choose wisely.

Soon to be Unemployed

It was a sad news yesterday when huny shared it to me. That in two months time he will be unemployed as per the company announces for the administration staff but the agents will be unemployed at the end of the month. The company declared a bankruptcy. It was somehow as expected by hubby since he most of the time arranged the conference room recently from clients to their superiors and been hearing the secret rumors. It was not actually bankruptcy but a change in management but of coarse this will not be accepted by regular employees. As per hubby's observation the management only wanted to remove the people whom been working long but performance not so good, those that established clan in the company and those who have tons of dealfun.com complaints. So as there's no easy way to remove those kind of employees that the company decided to file a state of financial instability. Good thing hubby was prepared. Even before we got married last August, he already told me he will file his resignation letter. For he said and I know that company didn't deserve such good and loyal employees like him :D. They were not fairly benefited as per legalities stated. At first upon entering in the company as a probationary employee, he didn't felt the unfair benefits not until he got regularized. It took years before he decided to quit since he was fulfilled by his job. He love what he's doing and it his forte. Eventually as our needs increases now that were becoming three, he know he needs not only fulfillment but also benefits. So as he says that what currently happening in the company is just a blessing in disguise.

Customizing Wordpress Theme

Again I am not able to blog hop, I am not leaving home and actually most of the time in front of my computer. I am just so busy studying on how to customize wordpress theme. Recently I just received a gift from a friend that I really really love and praying for. After the wedding I am enthusiastic to earn in blogging again but in my frustration my domain blog has been idle because I had problem transferring it from one platform to another. That also interrupts my will to earn since that domain became my bread here in the blogosphere. And I didn't gave it up until I can make it working. Gladly I did with the help of my blogging mentor and her friend . After I fixed the domain transfer problem I got to focus then on the gift software. I need to learn everything about it so I can make designs and easily navigate my ever issue with wordpress designing. Just yesterday I finally made my first theme that I like. So far my dear friend Nene and Dell said it's good. A little more practice and I can do better I guess. I am full of tweaking codes with Blogger since I can easily figure it out after a lot of practice and for being here in five years and still , now I am extending my learning to wordpress. Hope I can master it like how I did in here.

I Feel the Dues

Earlier today, a man introduced himself as from the tax department, showing identifications and talking a lot. It didn't sink in in my still sleepy mind, since mom just woke me up.I just stare at him with a blank reaction on my face then he's done talking and left.That was 3 hours ago.That early for a visit.  Then just as now while typing this post, it sink in.  

Now that I am back at hand managing our small business, I can feel the pressure. A lot of dues in line to prioritize and be in time. Though sometimes it's jargon to my ear, those words associated with the taxes, fire department fees, business permit renewal etc. I need to be familiarize with all those issue related with the business. It's like that I'll be needing an irs extension guide how to understand more of our business taxes fees and necessities. Mom usually did it for us. She was used to it even before when we were young because she always had a small business. The last time she took care of it was two years ago wherein she fills in information for the irs extension form 2009. During that time the line of business was different from what we have today.It's her store that used to fund for our everyday living aside from my brother's monthly remittance to her. Now the same location, business was converted to a computer rental shop which is a proprietorship between my eldest brother and huny and I. Since mom is teaching me and forcing me (hihihi) to be responsible with our business, I have no choice but to learn it all. Besides, she said she must've been graduated with all the procedures since it was not hers. But still kind to offer sometimes provide help for me. She can't resist me, I know! hehehe

I Wanna Work - Out Again

I know some of my friends will raised their eyebrows upon reading my ym status. Yeah everyone knew that I am pregnant and my title wouldn't be that healthy for me. It was not the work out that means work out losing some pounds.I got you nurses friends.lol Now I have lots of private messages of sermons hihihi.. I love it, that means a lot cares for me. I am so tats.^_^ I love you all. 

Anyway back to my title, it's about working outside. I have been working at home since April and I am feeling bored. Yes I am earning at home but I am looking for more adventures outside and away home. I have been staying here first because of the very sensitive first trimester of pregnancy that I suffered, so Huny pushed me to stay with mom and look after the business instead. Now I am on my second trimester and everything seems to be so good that I now I will be able to work then. Still huny refuses and told me wait till I give birth. Companies that I applied already contacting me and requesting if I can report to their offices. I miss being an employee, meeting new friends, hanging out and shopping. I am missing the feeling of excitement every salary,bonus or incentive giveaway days. I remember when I was working in a financial account last year, all employees were excited when December approached. That means a lot of consumers will go gaga for inquiries regarding on how to file their taxes . Unlike here in the country, companies where the ones who files taxes for employees. In other country, it is the tax payer's responsibility to calculate for their own taxes. That's why outsourcing company that offers software that  helps to calculate taxes were in demand during this period. Like as what I mentioned here a little amount of help that a representative will provide regarding on e- file tax extension process will result to an immediate incentives on the representatives end. This is only one of the happenings that I missed working in a company. Though it was still good to be my own boss while working at home, I still wanted to have lots of friends to enjoy with.

Working For Mysterious Her

 Sometimes I told to myself that I have a little kindness in me.(mabait din pala ko hihihi). Rarely but I can say big time. lol.. I can be kind even to those people I don't know much.This only happens once in a while. I am more of a business minded person. Everything is business. That's why I cannot blame God if He rarely gives me best opportunities.Because I know I don't deserve much because of my (tuso) attitude.

 Anyway, this is not about me post. This is about her. The mysterious her. I didn't know her much but I think I like her. Maybe when I read post about her I can feel somehow we have in common or just an illusion but still I like her. It happened that another Her suppose to proposed a thing but I was the one opened it up first. So it's a joined  project then. Her suggestions and my work. 

The other Her seemed to be my boss who constantly reminding me what's next to do etc. This uber bossy her will not going to let me have a good night sleep while I am up with something. So I must do this thing a little faster not to complicate my busy life today and be demanded more by this boss.But I love her to bits. She's just it. In a short period of time, I already accepted to myself cause she's my friend and if she's not like that then it wasn't her.

Let It Go

I have been trying to learn the other platform but seems that it was not meant for me. If that so, I will content myself here at blogger wherein I can almost say somehow I master it all. I am not a quitter when it comes to discovering new things but then again I have no choice. I have to minimize my time spending in front of a computer since my eyes were not doing good and it make me suffer much of giving me a severe headache. And in my current condition any type of pain will not be of help. I still have pending promises to Ferry about her blogs and I will surely make it but not that in an instant. And I know she will understand because she loves me. (mwuahness) Good thing to her even though she can afford a customizable logo design pricing , she still prefers my work and I appreciate it much of her trust to me. Two to Three hours a day enough to make her wishes for her blog be possible.

Weekend Vacation

Back in college days it's hard for me to have a weekend vacation. We have a lot of activities that even weekends which supposed to be a rest day will be used for meetings and plans for the upcoming weeks activities. If I am lucky to have a spare one, it will be a bonding with friends wherever. Basically a weekend at home is always impossible. I did not experienced the comfort of our leather furniture sofa much.

After college as I entered the real and practical life stage, I have been inclined in a business wherein it follows the time frame of the other part of the world. Aside from making night here a day for business, we also seldom have weekend offs. Now that I have found what I consider the best company because it provided my asking compensation, requested rest day schedule and a very very easy task. I now can enjoy weekend vacation.

Income Tax Season

I am working in a US based company specifically a large and known financial institution. I can feel the pressure of this Income tax season that started January until April of these year. Most of our clients were keep on bombarding us concerns of their money that as per they say going to use as business checks for multi reasons they were providing us. This season tend us to practice more and a wide range of patience. Well I cannot blame them, everybody was irate when it comes to money issue especially if it took long before they received or worst scenario will be lost. Lot of concern and process need to assists our clients. With all this processes, I am thinking of much thankful that somehow our government pampers us doing this for us. The bad thing is the reason why we belonged to the society of most corrupted country. But still the burden of processing and everything had done by our Bureau of Internal Revenue. Unlike to the United States, they have to compute for their own income tax return. 

So if ever I am one of the US citizen and poorly hated numbers, I am dead. lol 

New Green

Finally I set it up! The new born baby Green finally exist for real. This is the newest blog that contains all stuff that are new to me. New friend, new crafts, new talent, new everything.. I hope you have time to visit me here.. 

The Business Demands

Currently our small business becoming popular. Two of our competitors already defeated. In business competition is the battle. I am glad we've survived the competitors thinking that they were the first in our place. Theirs run for 3 years or so but in 5 months of our existence we made to make it on top 2. Top 2 yet we are now competing with the no. 1. Probably what make us to survive were the strategies we made and other services we offer. Now that the demand is increasing specially to printing, photocopiers, customizing projects and more, we decided of adding more funds to compensate for the demands and will eventually we know will profits us. 
I am just so thankful that blessings keep on rain to us. 

The Whirlwind Schedule

I have been so busy for the past week. As it was obvious on my untouched blogs. It started when I accepted Ferry's opps and gratefulness be the one make her wedding invitations. I am an amateur on crafts and I can't assure the beauty of it compared to html and web designs. But she need not doubted my capability and I am so so thankful to the couple for that HUGE trusts. Next thing that made me more busy was the new company I am with. I am currently in a financial account. It is so complicated and lots to memorize and number to keep by heart. As much as I hated numbers now I am inclined to it.Knowing myself I wanted to do everything with all my heart. I am having a problem in brain tasking. lol Can't find on what part of my brain to keep this and that. Right or left. Up or down. That weird I am now . :D Thing that most complicated was when Huny undergone an emergency appendectomy. My focus on everything seems to vanished since it was my other half on the operating table. I know that it was just a normal and minor operation but still it made me panic since I know how Huny afraid of needles, blood and operation itself. Good thing he was brave enough keep maintaining his calmness resulted to normal blood pressure so that no complications arisen.

To sum of it all, I have  to perform well with my compromised responsibilities because I know I am being trusted of my word and my capacity. The last thing that I did not able to comprehend with is my blogging life. I am sorry memes and friends that I failed to visit. Payback time is nearer.

A Letter from G

                                     

In the middle of my suffering from swollen eyes and face due to conjunctivitis, Though having a hard time reading this letter, I got to managed to capture, I am glad receiving this Adwords  Voucher but I am opt to use it. Though it was stated in the letter that it has no obligations thereafter using this voucher I am still doubted. Marketing strategy and I am into marketing wise.lol. I am afraid to risk since this involve money and credit card details. Said that this voucher cost 1500 up only til Sept. 30, 2010 since it's already October don't worry it was still valid but only cost less 500 until October 15, 2010. I don't know if this voucher can be transferrable but to those whom interested I am wiling to give it for free. Besides I've got nothing to use of it.

It is our day today. Our 47th month of being together. Instead of having a fine date and hanging around, Huny and I chose to set this date into productive one. Since we are starting our business in partnership with my brother, we have to think strategies, tips and everything that could help us to minimize the expenditures but not compromising the quality. Huny is a type of guy who aims to be perfect in everything. So he wanted to be our first business to be perfect based on his standards. We are currently canvassing for the keyboards that we were going to use to our computer rental shop. One of the best choice Huny kept on insisting me was to buy A4tech products. He was in the techy society for consistently 8 years and I trust and believe his decisions when it comes to brands that we need to consider or to choose from. Browsing the intranet regarding on A4tech backgrounds on computer supply, it didn't failed me to read positive feedback in different people in different sites. We went to the mall to check for the shops that sell A4tech gadgets.
